Artist Story...
Y'all are looking at an original one-of-a-kind design I sculpted from 3 different types of stone (Onyx, Alabaster, and Sandstone), and each letter is sculpted hand-twisted in bronze. The guitar neck/head is a beautiful onyx stone with a smooth curve as it flows unlike any other. It took me many hours to tap those holes by hand with a pin-type size file tool for each tuning key to be mounted in the head. The strings and tuning keys are from an old 60's guitar I found at a junkyard. The "Y" is a piece of sandstone that I soaked in iodine and polished with olive oil to get that wonderful coloring—the Heart, ya, the heart is alabaster stone. OMG, I spent so much time on the heart. Look very close, and you will see all of the curves and deep crevices carved far into the stone.
So, I say this mug is for those of you who love Country Dancing, Western Music, and everything related to Country.
